Chris Stamer, a native of Hamburg, N.Y. has been part of the Western New York music scene for over 40 years. From the early 1980s to 2005, he played bass in one of the area’s top party, festival, and wedding bands. He has four full-length studio recordings under his belt. In addition to his vocals, he plays guitar and bass with the Fishercats. He is also the band’s point man, so call to book a date today.
Bob Wiepert, lead guitarist for the band, hails from Clarence, New York and brings over three decades of musical experience to the stage. Throughout his career, he has performed with numerous cover bands, including Too Many Wires, Sky Band, and the acclaimed Beatles tribute group Adam’s Apple.
In addition to his work with ensembles, Bob is recognized as a seasoned solo acoustic artist. His craft was shaped under the guidance of Western New York blues legend Tommy Z, and further refined through vocal training at the Performing Arts Center.
With a blend of technical mastery and expressive artistry, Bob’s guitar work anchors the band’s sound, delivering both precision and passion to every performance.
Eliza Fisher of Hamburg, N.Y. found her love of singing at an early age, and by high school became Lake Shore Central’s top school musical talent. She continues to study voice with the area’s most gifted teacher. Her vocal range and onstage-presence have catapulted the band’s popularity in the few short years she has been with the group.
Mark Kohan has been playing in bands since 1976. The leader of Steel City Brass for 30 years, he was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2003. He has written many scholarly works on ethnic music, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including recognition for his work with the New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Mark has performed on eight full-length recordings, and has worked on dozens of others playing bass, guitar, accordion, chimnitzer concertina, and drums.
Robert Coutch, originally from Pittsburgh, is our versatile keyboard player who has been performing professionally since high school. His musical journey spans everything from woodwinds in pit orchestras to bass in heavy metal bands. Comfortable in any genre—Oldies, Country, Funk, Soul, or Christian Rock—Robert brings depth and adaptability to every performance. A member of Top 40 bands since the early 1990s, he has shared the stage with acts like Badfinger, The Jaggerz, Donnie Iris, Lou Christie, The Vogues, and more.
Mike DePasquale of West Seneca, N.Y., our drummer who everyone knows—and who knows everyone—has been a fixture in the Western New York music scene since middle school. Over the years, he’s performed with countless groups, including Old Iron Blues, The Rick Roads Show, Overtime Music Project, Night Tones, Street Kingz, and Party Hounds, just to name a few. His versatility and ability to adapt to any style have made him one of Buffalo’s most sought-after musicians.
